Who are we?
Jerusalem Walking Tours was started by two tour guides, Leah Bowman and Aaron Shaffier. We are both passionate about showing people around the worlds only Jewish country.
Why are we here?
We are here to serve the independent traveler.
- Maybe you are here for a nephew’s Bar Mitzvah and you want to see Jerusalem while you are here.
- Maybe you arranged your flight and hotel on the internet and also want to be able to book a guided tour while you are here.
- Or maybe you are a local who wants to take the day off and see parts of Jerusalem you have never seen before.
We want to make it easy for you to book a fun, exciting, healthy walking tour of Jerusalem at your own convenience.
What kind of tours do we do?
We focus on walking tours. Walking tours are fun and healthy! Jerusalem is a perfect city for walking tours. There is so much to see in every nook and cranny.
We have noticed that there are many walking tours available in Jerusalem, but very few of them are given from a Jewish point of view. Seems hard to believe since Israel is the only Jewish country in the world, but that seems to be the case.
That’s why all of our tours are given from a Jewish point of view. That doesn’t mean they are only for Jewish people. We invite everyone to join our tours!
